Rainbow Beach, just outside of Dauphin, is a provincial park that offers spacious and private campsites—perfect for RVs, campers, or tents and complete with electricity and water hookups. We love that the beach itself is never too crowded.

The water is surprisingly warm (for Manitoba!), and the sandbars create a safe space for kids to splash around. There’s also a boat launch for water lovers and a seasonal canteen to grab some snacks.

There are a few rocky spots near the shore, but once you’re past those, the water is calm and shallow. You can also walk out as far as 250 meters, and the water still won’t go past your waist, which is great for non-swimmers.

Pro Tip:

Up for a little extra adventure? The Dauphin Lake Golf Club is just 3 kilometers away—a perfect spot to practice your swing.
