A Spring Taxi wheelchair transport (surprise) showed up on time after phoning me on my cell. The helpful driver loaded my wife and her wheelchair into the van, strapped the chair in and drove carefully at moderate speeds across town from the hospital to our house. He honored the dispatcher’s quote without question, and offered to help my wife into the house. He said to call again and he would be pleased to “serve us”. I don’t know the relationship between Handi-Helper and Spring. The driver said that Handi-Helper had phoned him because Handi was saturated and could not make a pick-up at the time promised.
