Every adventurer reaches a point where a sleeping bag on the ground just doesn’t cut it anymore—at least, we did. After one too many cold nights and questionable zippers, we knew it was time to level up our camping game.

That’s when we started exploring Winnipeg’s RV dealers. We looked for the perfect home on wheels to fuel our next adventure.

These dealers aren’t just selling vehicles—they’re offering tickets to road trips, lakefront breakfasts, and cozy nights under the stars (with no soggy tent in sight).

So, if you’re ready to take the leap like we were, here’s where to start your RV journey in Winnipeg.

How much does an RV cost in Winnipeg?

An RV costs at least $15,000 for basic travel trailers in Winnipeg.

However, the final price may change depending on various factors. This includes the vehicle’s condition, age, model, and more.

We were hunting for a new RV, and CampMart in Winnipeg was on our radar. We have to admit, we were genuinely impressed with their selection. It felt like stepping into a well-curated showroom for all things RV.

We like that they’ve got everything—from compact travel trailers to the massive fifth wheels. Seeing familiar brands like Heartland and Forest River in their lineup was reassuring.

But what stood out to us was the convenience they offer. They offer spare parts, maintenance, and even financing options. It’s a comprehensive approach that really simplifies the RV ownership experience.

Their website deserves a mention, too. It’s user-friendly and features virtual tours of the RVs, allowing you to explore options from the comfort of your home.

However, we must point out one concern: some customers have reported disappointing experiences with their service. It’s worth noting, particularly if you value consistently smooth transactions.

Pros

  • Wide RV selection
  • Reputable brands
  • All-in-one services
  • User-friendly website

Cons

  • Poor customer service

Offers seamless assistance from sales to finance

“I had a great experience at Campmart in Winnipeg, they were very friendly and helpful in the purchase of a new RV trailer. Mckenna Langley was my salesperson and Tyler Main was my finance manager, both were very helpful! Austin Resch from Kitchener was very helpful and friendly, making sure things were going well, I first reached out on Facebook marketplace is how touched base. Would recommend them if looking for an RV or a vehicle too as I know they will be the same service and customer satisfaction there as well.”

Offers a wide selection of trailers to explore

“My wife and I decided to upgrade from a tent to a small travel travel. We decided to go look at few trailers after work one night and fell in love with our new little Grand River trailer. The staff at CampMart are amazing. From our awesome sales person, Beverly to the finance manager, David, the general manager Brodie was also phenomenal! Every single person was super nice and helpful and made this an amazing experience. We would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you CampMart!”

RV Winnipeg recently caught our attention. They’ve established themselves in the industry with over 40 years in the business.

The first thing we noticed—and really appreciated—was the size of their facility. At over 21,500 square feet, it’s spacious and well-equipped to handle various needs.

Their no-pressure sales approach stood out to us as well. We value an environment where we don’t feel rushed or pushed. Their team’s apparent experience gave us confidence in the process.

Seeing they have an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau reassured us. This recognition is always a good sign of consistent, reliable service.

Financing seems like a breeze with them, and we like how they keep it all in-house. Offering flexible payment options and quick approvals is a win in our book.

However, some customer reviews mentioned that the final cost was significantly higher than the initial quote. We think this is worth considering and clarifying upfront to avoid surprises.

Pros

  • Over 40 years of experience
  • Spacious 21,500 sq. ft. facility
  • A+ BBB rating
  • Flexible in-house financing
  • No-pressure sales

Cons

  • Cost discrepancies

Excels in both sales and post-purchase support

“We recently purchased our first RV and our salesperson was Angela. She was absolutely fantastic!! Kind, knowledgeable, thorough and helpful. If you are looking to buy your first RV or upgrading your old one, ask for Angela you won’t be disappointed and she will definitely deliver.  Thanks Angela for all of your help!!! We love our new RV. Also Jason in service (I think that’s the department he works in) was fantastic, very personable and knowledgeable. He was extremely thorough in showing us all the ins and outs of our new RV and got us all set up perfectly. Thanks Jason for all of your assistance.”

We were immediately impressed when we learned Transcona Trailer Sales Ltd has been in business since 1963. That’s over six decades—remarkable staying power if you ask us!

It’s also a third-generation family business, which we always find heartwarming. Businesses like these often carry a sense of tradition and care. They also take pride in honest advertising and a stress-free experience.

Their dealership facility is a decent size. It has plenty of space to showcase a variety of new and used RVs. We liked seeing solid brands like Forest River and Arctic Cat in their lineup.

But what really stood out is that they have their own service department with trained technicians. Having that in-house expertise is great for routine maintenance or minor repairs.

Aside from that, we also love that they offer secure RV storage—something not every dealership provides.

But there’s a drawback. We were disappointed that the staff seemed too busy to assist us. It’s something to keep in mind if you decide to visit.

Pros

  • Over 60 years in operation
  • Honest and stress-free approach
  • Decent size facility
  • Wide selection
  • In-house service department
  • Secure RV storage

Cons

  • Delayed assistance

Simplifies long-distance trailer purchases with exceptional support

“I live in Alberta, and purchasing a brand new trailer without seeing it in person can be a very daunting task. However, dealing with Blake Gillan made the task a breeze. Blake was great to work with, and he went above and beyond to clear all questions we had. He held multiple phone calls and FaceTime calls with us to make sure we understood the product we were purchasing. Not only Blake helped in the sales process, but when there was no one available to transport the trailer to a closer point for pick up, Blake made the effort of driving 7 hours after his normal work hours to help us out. I wish I could give this review 10 stars, this company is excellent to deal with. Keep up the excellent work!”

-Roger Machado, Google Review

Creates a friendly and supportive buying experience

“Have 0 complain about their services. There was a whole team helped us for hook up. Shane is not only a salesman. He is more like a friend who will give you his own opinion and wait for your decision. He also saved the camper decor which I was interested in March when we first time there. When I saw it wrapped with plastic wrap and laying in my trailer I was surprised. I didn’t really expected it. It is so touchy when I saw it. Thanks for your business. I bought what I need with great services.”

We’ve been digging into West Coast Auto & Leisure, and we have to admit—we’re intrigued. The first thing that grabbed our attention was their massive inventory.

They’ve got a wide selection of new and used RVs. We think you’d be hard-pressed not to find something that suits your taste and budget.

But what really impressed us is their “No Fees, No Surprises, No B.S.” policy. We love that they’re upfront about pricing and want to keep things simple.

Another thing we like is their “Buy From Home” program. You can conveniently browse their inventory online and buy your RV from your home.

Plus, their delivery across Canada is a huge win in our book. No matter where you are, they can bring your dream RV to your doorstep. That level of convenience really impressed us.

Their website is another highlight. It’s user-friendly and packed with resources. We also appreciate their YouTube channel, which offers virtual tours of their RVs.

But we found that their after-sales service didn’t leave a remarkable impression. Some customers mentioned delays in addressing warranty issues. This is worth considering with a significant investment like an RV.

  • Massive inventory
  • Transparent pricing
  • Offers “Buy From Home” program
  • Offers nationwide delivery
  • User-friendly website

Cons

  • Poor after-sales service

“Wonderful floor plan options at the best price in Manitoba. Super helpful and quick with replies and answers. This is our second rv purchase from them a are extremely pleased with the camper and the service team at getting it ready for us. Very professional with delivery and helped with all my questions and fussiness on the unit and it’s location on our site.”

Helps find vehicles that perfectly match customer needs

“Thank you to Kim our salesman that helped us with our new to us truck that had everything that we wanted and i also like to thank to Scott the finance guy. He made sure that everything was understood and was able to get us approved (even on the weekend when the banks are slow). Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to buy a vehicle. If you are in the market this is the place to go.”

We were immediately impressed by Four Seasons RV Sales Winnipeg’s extensive inventory. They have a fantastic selection of new and pre-owned RVs from popular brands like Jayco, Cougar, and Grand Design.

Their Emergency Onsite Service program is a game-changer. It provides free emergency assistance for three years with every new RV purchase.

Customers mentioned having an issue with their RV while on a trip. Four Seasons sent a technician to their campsite to fix it—for free. We think this is an incredibly valuable feature, particularly for frequent travelers.

We also appreciate their “Buy From Home” program. This added convenience is a definite plus for anyone who prefers to handle things from home.

However, it’s not always perfect. Four Seasons has poor maintenance service. Some felt pressured to buy a new RV instead of maintaining their current one.

  • Offers “Buy From Home” program

Cons

  • Poor maintenance service

“We have been getting our Sonic trailer serviced and equipped from the good folks at Four Seasons in Winnipeg for two years now.  A special shout-out to Thomas who always takes very good care of us, making all of the arrangements for service and having warranty work and recalls done.  The whole staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful; it is always a pleasant experience shopping or having service done there.”
